What every stream really means at Bashertz
We are for serious, marriage minded Jewish singles across every stream of Jewish life. Here is what that means in practice.
One room, many backgrounds
Bashertz is for serious, marriage minded Jewish singles across every stream of Jewish life. Modern Orthodox, Yeshivish, Chabad, Sephardi, Conservative, traditional, and those still finding their place are all welcome. Every stream is not a slogan for us. It is the design of the room.
Values first, labels second
Labels are a starting point, not the whole story. Two people can share a label and want very different homes, and two people with different labels can want the same one. So we match on values and direction first: how you want to keep a home, how you treat people, and what you are building toward, and only then on the language you use to describe yourself.
Shomer friendly by default
We are built to respect how observant members date. You set your comfort with touch, with meeting, and with pace, and we honor it. No one has to explain or defend the way they keep their standards.
You set the terms
Every stream also means you decide what matters in a match. If denomination is a firm line for you, we respect that. If you are open across streams, we make that easy too. The room is wide, and you choose your place in it.
Serious people, treated with kavod
What every stream really means, in the end, is dignity. Real names, photo verified members, marriage minded intent, and a tone that treats Jewish life as something to honor. That is the room we are building, for all of it.
Common questions
Does Bashertz only serve Orthodox singles?
No. We are for every stream of Jewish life, Modern Orthodox through Reform and traditional, matched on shared values and the home each person wants to build.
Can I limit my matches to my own denomination?
Yes. You set the terms. If denomination is a firm line for you we respect it, and if you are open across streams we make that easy.
